While watching her videos, there’s a clear parallel between Melania’s recent “tours” of Africa with that of Queen Elizabeth II’s Royal Tour’s in the 1950s and 60s. This video combines visuals shot during both Melania and Queen Elizabeth II's tours… besides the video quality, its hard to tell which ones were shot when. The blatant sexualization of Ghanaian dancers, the portrayal of “poor, primitive” Africans at markets, the Western matriarch sitting on a throne while watching “the locals” perform… it seems like not much has changed in these past sixty years.
